So you’re thinking you might be interested in hiking, camping and all the rest? Excellent!
Troop 348 is open to boys who are close to graduating 5th grade, are eleven years old or older, and who are willing to tackle outdoor adventures and live up to our scouting code.
In the spring, we welcome boys who are “crossing over” from Cub Scouts, however we welcome kids who are eleven and older at any time of year.
If you’re someone looking to join, we hold a number of events throughout the fall, winter, and spring which are open to guests, but your welcome to come and visit any of our regular troop meeting anytime.
Troop 348 has annual dues of around $140 per year per scout (prorated depending on the time of year that you join). Each outing has its own price tag that depends on the nature of the event. Some are real bargains and some are more expensive.
Each scout also has a chance to earn money by selling Boy Scout Blend coffee benefiting Troop 348. Families, friends and neighbors, and co-workers can support your Scout by purchasing from a variety of gourmet coffee blends -- roasted by local Silver Cup Coffee company in Everett, WA. Each bag sold puts savings into the Scout's own personal account which can then be used to defray costs and for reimbursement of scouting related gear, expenses, and other stuff during the year!
